Insurance to Cover Insurance

Yes it has come to this. Customers who honorably pay their inflated insurance premiums dutifully and on time have to wonder what games their insurance company will play to deny or reduce their claim should the time arise that they ever need to file a claim. This insurance lunacy runs the gambit of all insurance arenas including auto, health, life, and property and has customers so scared of being denied or canceled when they file a legitimate and contractually obligated claim that people who have acute chest pains, for example, refuse to get checked out as they do not want to pay the bill and they are deathly afraid of a negative result getting back to their insurance carrier as either their premiums would increase dramatically or they will be canceled. Enough is enough.
It is not fair that a consumer who pays on time and in good faith is subjected to such demeaning and bad faith practices by the company the consumer specifically contracted to offset perceived and potential risk. It is not fair that the insurance company immediately takes an adversarial and intimidating stance any time any of its customers files a claim as the insurance company tortuously and unconstitutionally convicts the customer of filing a fraudulent claim without probable cause or evidence and mandates that the burden of proof of innocence is on the consumer. It is not fair that the insurance company adjustor is working against the interest of the customer while acting like the customer's best friend. It is not fair that the adjustor will savagely and sadistically employ psychological warfare against the in-duress customer in order to trap the customer in to making statements that will be leveraged to reduce or deny the claim. It is not fair that all regulatory bodies consider such unethical consumer abusing and bad faith practices as legitimate and fair practices. It is truly not fair that a consumer who employs the same bad faith tactics against the insurance company is guilty of insurance fraud but there are no penalties or consideration for the reverse injustice herein coined as "consumer fraud". No, consumer fraud is BIG business and the insurance companies are well leveraged to protect themselves from any potential liability for their bad faith policies and procedures.
While the concept of insurance to cover insurance is enticing, alas, it is unreasonable. Any risk assessment professional would cower at the prospect of insuring that the insurance company lives up to its contractually obligated policy. The risk assessment professional would know that despite the insurance company parking its Lamborghini outside the governmental assistance office and changing into its designer "poor" clothes before crying poverty, the insurance company is flush with cash and has spent a considerable amount to protect its "good neighbor" image. The costs and time associated with having to mitigate of all the insurance company's lies, deception, manipulation, and bad faith legalese make the concept of insurance to cover insurance a losing proposition.
As destitute as it sounds... there is HOPE. A professional independent water damage restoration company will have the resources and experience required to restore the customer's water damaged asset to its preloss condition by using a restoration company that is customer focused and will do everything it takes to satisfy the customer - not the lap dog of the insurance adjustor whose only ambition is to get a bone from the adjuster.
It's your money.
It's your choice.
Choose Wisely

Healthcare Cost Management Through Technology and Expertise

While wellness programs and other long-term cost containment strategies have their place in healthcare cost management, most organizations require cost reduction now. Current or recent increases in health plan claims are what most often drive companies to search for healthcare cost containment companies. That's where technology and expertise become most important. So what should corporations be looking for to contain health plan claims right now? Let's have a look.
Analytic technology and tools that are ahead of the curve. Superior software that delves deep into claims billing is a critical step required by companies aiming to reduce unnecessary health plan claims. Industry experience is certainly necessary to understanding the requirements for this software, but superior software that delivers clear, meaningful reports is crucial to helping companies understand their health care costs. Some of the things that superior software can perform would include detection of irregularities, rich editing and auditing of claims, and claims trend analysis, among other things. When a healthcare cost management company can provide truly meaningful data that can integrate with that of any corporation this reduces lag time in implementation and can provide more immediate cost reductions. State-of-the-art software that audits every claim down to the last detail is critical to cost reduction.
Expertise in Auditing and Clinical Bill Review. This begins with people, starting at the top of any healthcare claims management provider. The company's experience in auditing claims, understanding the industry, detecting fraud (among other things) must be deep and rich. This must extend through its entire staff of claims auditors who must provide medical, analytical and negotiating expertise. This is critical to helping companies identify opportunities for improvements and to reduce unnecessary health plan benefits claims and costs.
Well established PPO Networks. The establishment of preferred provider organizations comes with experience and expertise of course, but a rich, wide understanding of network availability and integrity is critical to reducing healthcare costs. That quest for experience extends into the provider networks as well, so that cost management companies ensure that healthcare providers are aware of cost reduction opportunities and avoid waste or mismanagement.
These are only a few aspects that form part of effective healthcare cost management but these are some of the most critical in immediately reducing healthcare claims, especially those due to unnecessary errors, abusive impropriety or fraudulent claims. Look for superior technology, experience and expertise when you want to immediately reduce healthcare costs due to undue health plan claims.

Travel Insurance During an Earthquake-Tsunami Combined Disaster

An earthquake-tsunami combined catastrophe is among the most widely feared natural disasters today. Any place that has experienced such a terrifying event sustains heavy damage and suffers from a massive loss of life. One only needs to look at what happened to people from Aceh in Indonesia and Japan to know that these events are not a joke. It does not matter if one is a local or a visitor to the area. The disasters make no distinction on who they affect and kill. These relatively unpredictable disasters are periodic reminders why travel insurance is a necessity regardless of where you are going.
These kinds of disasters cause all types of disruptions for an unlucky visitor in the area. Other than kill, they seriously injure people in various ways to the extent a person needs intensive medical treatment or repatriation. An earthquake-tsunami combo can strand a traveller in the area long after they are supposed to go home or continue on in their journey. They will be forced to scramble with thousands of others in rebooking for their flight, and pay extra to their place of accommodation. They could also make people lose or destroy the belongings of a person in the midst of chaos and destruction of the area, not to mention money.
Dealing with the traumatic event and its accompanying problems is already very stressful. Facing them while uninsured, however, leads to a double-whammy that affects someone not only physically and psychologically but also financially. With travel insurance, Sydney-based travellers can expect the firms covering them to
a) cover the unexpected expense of rebooking a flight canceled by the disaster,
b) reimburse them for the alternative travel expenses they incurred trying to get away from the disaster zone,
c) assist travellers by covering the extra days you were forced to spend in your accommodation by the event,
d) pay for all medical expenses that were the result of serious injuries sustained in the earthquake-tsunami combo catastrophe,
e) recompense them for the money, bags, and other personal belongings that were lost, damaged, or stolen during the event,
f) compensate for accidental deaths that occurred during that time, and
g) reimburse them for the disruption to the journey the incident caused.
Insurance cannot make someone recover psychologically from these experiences. It does, however, allow them to not stress about the unexpected expenses they bring. This in effect frees up the mind of the covered person to worry about more important matters, such as getting help and going home. Getting travel insurance, Sydney residents, is easy and fast. It is affordable and can be done in a few minutes.
Major natural disasters such as an earthquake-tsunami combo can strike when you least expect it. They are tragically destructive reminders why people should never forget to get travel insurance. While it cannot protect you from the problems and trauma these events bring about, they can at least cover you financially, allowing you to worry about more important things. Keep that in mind next time you plan your trip abroa

A Simple Guide to Cheap Travel Insurance

Travelling is a form of leisure for many people. It gives them a chance to relax and enjoy different experiences and places of other countries. When you have finally chosen your desired travel location and date, it is important to secure travel insurance right after. It is a safety net just in case something bad happens before or during your trip. Travel agents might offer you insurance; however, there is an alternative.
When it comes to insurance, it is advised that you purchase one after booking your trip; it has a best time to buy it. Many insurance companies have an "advantage period" which usually lasts from 10 to 30 days, depending on the policy. During the advantage period, insurers have special offers and options such as covering the financial default of a travel supplier or giving exclusion waivers to pre-existing conditions. These offers, however, are usually not available for economy or basic insurance plans. Cheap travel insurance can still give you your basic insurance needs, fit for your budget.
Where can I find cheap travel insurance?
Many consumers now are looking at web-based insurance providers. Looking for cheap insurance for your trips is now easier and convenient, thanks to the internet. When you have found a possible insurance provider with all the information you need to know about them, do not forget to read the terms and conditions of their policies, too. You might have an issue in the future while travelling that is actually not covered by your insurance plan. Why is it a whole lot cheaper?
It is not only the competition that gives online searchers cheaper insurance prices but also the slashed out travel agent. People looking for travel assurance often find themselves amazed at how much cheaper online providers offer their services compared to travel agents who sell insurance. Travel agents typically receive 40% to 50% commission on insurance policies. Online providers who do not sell their products through travel agents have savings, enabling them to give more to their customers.
Travel agents are not only there to sell insurance products. They are also there to inform customers everything they need to know about an insurance plan. In dealing with online providers, you need to make informed decisions regarding travel assurance policies. It is best to read the limitations, benefits, terms, and conditions of your desired plan. Reading the fine print is utmost important so as to not come across any problem when making a claim.
Picking travel insurance plans for yourself should suit your needs. Purchase your insurance as soon as you book your trip to avoid future adverse situations such as an unexpected death in the family, leading you to the cancellation of your trip or flight. At least when you have insurance, you can get a refund of every single dollar you spent.

The Importance of Getting Travel Insurance

Travel insurance can be defined as a special type of insurance which is meant to safeguard you against accidents or financial losses that might occur during your travels internally or outside the country. Most people are not aware of this type of insurance and tend to undermine it as being an unnecessary expense that can be avoided. Generally travel insurance is purchased when you're about to make a trip or buying tickets for travel.
While many people might see it as an unnecessary expense, for those people who are frequent travellers it might not be a bad idea to get travel insurance. This is particularly relevant if your travels are taking you to a different continent and to countries where conditions may not be as stable and reliable as your home country. In such cases, you can get travel insurance as an extra safeguard for your trip abroad.
There are several risks or accidents that could be covered by your travel insurance plan depending on the one you chose. Most insurance plans do offer coverage for sudden illnesses or medical emergencies, cancellation charges for last-minute cancellation, missed flights, stolen luggage etc. For further coverage you might want to discuss the details with your company. There could be coverage for travel to countries that might be dangerous to travel in or for kidnapping and other unforseen incidents.
Whether or not you need travel insurance is ultimately your choice to make but it would be a good idea to understand why you should be a candidate for travel insurance. If your flight is cancelled, certain cancellation charges ensue. Your insurance covers that. In case of a loss of your wallet, passport and other papers, you can get your money and a passport made in a hurry. If you meet with an accident in some remote area with no suitable medical help, your company is responsible for getting you out of there. When going on a cruise or a vacation, the tour is cancelled and you are forced to bear the losses; your company will cover your losses for you. If you lose your luggage in your travels and it contained some expensive stuff that you bought on your trip abroad, you're covered.
All these reasons and more have made people take an interest in purchasing travel insurance for their trips abroad and within the country. It is advisable to choose only the coverage that you need for the trip you're making. Lower coverage means lower rates. There are a number of options available for travellers of all kind.
